Like real horsetail hair canvases, Th-812 has strong threads running cross-wise, so that the fabric is resistant to folding or bending along the grain, but easily bends on the cross-grain.
This makes a fabric with unusual properties -- behaving quite differently depending on which direction the grain is laid into projects.
If you don't want to use real horsetail hair canvas, this is a good alternative.
