Horsetail hair canvas uses the lightweight strength of horses' tail hairs to create a fabric that is resistant to folding or bending along the grain
(but easily folds in the cross-grain direction), yet is surprisingly light weight.
It is a fabric with unusual properties -- behaving quite differently depending on which direction the grain is laid into projects.
Our Salerno horsetail hair interlining is the highest quality in the world.
Made in Italy from Italian materials, it has a very soft, gentle feel.
It's perfectly suited to lightly, firmly strengthen the upper chest area of bespoke suit chest fronts.

Any uncut goods, such as fasteners, shoulder pads, chalk and thread, can be returned in original condition within 14 days for a full refund of the cost of the item.
